Laundry Setting Issues

Does anyone know what dry settings might turn white bed sheets gray or beige? Thanks

Typically if your white items are showing some color change (white to a yellow beige tone) following drying or finishing, it is due to residual chemicals (alkali) left over from the washing process. Make sure you verify the pH of the linens following the wash-extract process, and it is in a neutral range of +/- 7

if its grey that could also be down to a colour transfer from a black/dark coloured item onto your whites. Also constant bleaching (sodium Hypochlorite) will have a greying effect over time. David is correct, a yellowing can mean residual chemicals and can also be from rust depositing, a quick test with oxalic acid will confirm presence of rust, sources could be steel pipework, poor quality water or the use of bore water with a high iron content

hi there if ever we have had color change , it is due to not completely washing out your chemical from the wash and or overdrying. hope this helps
